For the latest news about how coronavirus is affecting the mailing and shipping industry see the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.stamps.com\/coronavirus-updates\/\">Stamps.com Coronvirus Updates Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Restored Service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Hong Kong<\/strong><\/br>\nHong Kong Post has announced that inbound and outbound postal services have returned to normal.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Suspended Service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Ecuador<\/strong><\/br>\nEmpresa P\u00fablica Correos del Ecuador CDE E.P has suspended all service until further notice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Myanmar<\/strong><\/br>\nMyanmar Post has suspended all outbound services to international destinations until April 30, 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Service\nDisruptions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Armenia<\/strong><\/br>\nHaypost CJSC expects serious delays for all inbound and outbound mail\nitems until further notice. For all items requiring signature on\ndelivery, the recipient\u2019s signature will be replaced with the mail\ncarrier\u2019s signature and the delivery code.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Canada<\/strong><\/br>\nCanada Post has advised customers to expect delays for all letter-post, parcel-post, and EMS items. Additionally, Canada Post has suspended signature on delivery services. Instead, mail carriers will apply \u201csafe drop\u201d procedures whenever it is possible to do so.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Croatia<\/strong><\/br>\nCroatian Post has introduced a special process for mail items that would typically requite signature on delivery. Affected mail items will be placed in the recipients\u2019 mailbox or at the front door of their home. Additionally, customers should expect delays in the delivery of all mail items.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Ireland<\/strong><\/br>\nAn Post, has advised that it has suspended signature on delivery for inbound items. Effective immediately, delivery will be made via methods that limit direct contact.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Israel<\/strong><\/br>\nIsrael Postal Company has suspended signature on delivery for inbound mail items. For items that would typically require signature, the item will be left at the door, after being scanned and photographed to ensure that delivery has been made.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Malaysia<\/strong><\/br>\nMalaysia has suspended all signature on delivery services.\nAdditionally, customers are advised that they should expect delays.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Malta<\/strong><\/br>\nMaltaPost has suspended all signature on delivery services. For that would typically require signature on delivery, the mail carrier will instead record the recipient\u2019s name and ID number.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Myanmar (Burma)<\/strong><\/br>\nMyanmar Post has advised that customers should be expected delays.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Norway<\/strong><\/br>\nPosten Norge AS suspended outbound mail to all countries outside the European Union except for Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Serbia<\/strong><\/br>\nPublic Enterprise Post of Serbia has advised that customers should\nexpect delivery delays until further notice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Singapore<\/strong><\/br>\nSingapore Post has suspended signature on delivery will be suspended,\neffective immediately. All items will be deposited in mailboxes,\nwhere possible. Larger items will be delivered parcel locker\nstations, post offices or collection points for collection. Mailers\nare encouraged to include the recipient\u2019s mobile number on all\nitems, if possible.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Slovenia<\/strong><\/br>\nSlovenia, Po\u0161ta Slovenije, has advised that it is suspending\nsignature on delivery for items destined to Slovenia. Additionally,\nin order to avoid human contact, Po\u0161ta Slovenije will deliver items\nusing alternative delivery methods where possible. This includes\ndelivery to agreed locations, such as P.O. boxes, mailboxes, parcel\nlockers. These measures will remain in place until further notice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Suriname<\/strong><\/br>\nSuriname Postal\nCorporation has advised customers to expect delays until further\nnotice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Turkey<\/strong><\/br>\nTurkish PTT Corporation has advised customers to expect delays until\nfurther notice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>United Kingdom<\/strong><\/br>\nRoyal\nMail Group has announced\nchanges for items requiring\nsignature on delivery. Effective March 13, 2020, items requiring a\nsignature on delivery will not always be signed by the recipient. If\nthe recipient is unable to sign for an\nitem but has accepted it,\na code (XP1) will be entered into the handheld device.
