Six countries have announced the suspension of some or all classes and six have announced disrupted service. Be advised that USPS packages sent to these locations will be affected. For the latest news about how coronavirus is affecting the mailing and shipping industry see the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.stamps.com\/coronavirus-updates\/\">Stamps.com Coronvirus Updates Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Suspended Service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Cayman\nIslands<\/strong><\/br>\nCayman Islands Postal Service has suspended the processing of all letter-post, parcel-post, and EMS items from March 20, 2020, through April 12, 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>French\nPolynesia<\/strong><\/br>\nOPT PF \u2013 FARE RATA is currently not accepting letter-post, parcel-post or EMS items until March 31, 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Lebanon<\/strong><\/br>\nLibanPost\nhas\nsuspended outbound\nmail services to all\ninternational\ndestinations.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Maldives\n<\/strong>\n<\/br>\n\nMaldives\nPost has\nannounced all\ninbound and outbound mail\nservices are suspended\nuntil March 28, 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mongolia\n<\/strong>\n<\/br>\n\nMongol\nPost is temporarily closing its international mail center until April\n1, 2020. All\ninbound and outbound international mail has been suspended.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Tunisia<\/strong><\/br>\nLa\nPoste Tunisienne has suspended\nall inbound and outbound mail services until international\nflights in and out of Tunisia have been restored.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Service\nDisruptions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Chile<\/strong><\/br>\nCorreosChile has announced several service changes will go into effect until further notice. International outbound mail has been suspended to all countries except Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Uruguay. International inbound mail addressed to Easter Island will no longer be accepted. Delays should be expected for all inbound international mail. Signature on delivery for inbound international mail has temporarily been suspended.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Germany<\/strong><\/br>\nDeutsche Post has suspended signature on delivery service. Items that would typically require the recipients&#8217; signature will now be deposited in the recipient\u2019s mailbox or in a secure location.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Honduras<\/strong><\/br>\nEmpresa de Correos de Honduras (Honducor) has announced the distribution of international mail will be subject to major delays until further notice.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Jamaica<\/strong><\/br>\nJamaica Post has advised that it will be unable to guarantee delivery standards at the current time. Customers should expect delays.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Philippines<\/strong><\/br>\nPhilippine Postal Corporation will accept incoming mail until the\ntotal lockdown of international air and sea transport on March 20,\n2020. Additionally, all post offices in areas placed under quarantine\nare closed.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Romania<\/strong><\/br>\nPo\u0219ta Rom\u00e2n\u0103 has announced that customers should expect delays for\nall inbound and outbound international mail items.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, March 18, 2020, the USPS has announced additional mail disruptions for international postal services.
